This mandala was created to represent empathy and remembrance. Photos of symbols for empathy and remembrance were arranged into a collage and then transformed with intention into this mandala. Symbols used were a Peruvian lily, a calla lily, a field of forget-me-nots, an otter, and a rosemary stalk.
You might want to hang this mandala in the meddle left section of your home or room because that is the section for family and ancestors. However, it is ok to hang it anywhere to attract and radiate empathy and to remember the best from the past.
“Empathy is about finding echoes of another person in yourself.” – Mohsin Hamid

When we lose a loved one, it hurts. And when we see someone hurting, we want to help and let them know we feel their pain. They say that misery loves company and in a way it is true. When you lose someone dear, it helps to know hat there is someone who understands what you are going through. It is particularly helpful to know that the person has been through it and survived. It is helpful to know that in time, the memories will make you smile and bring comfort. That is what this mandala is all about.
